By acceding to the Chicago Convention on International Civil Aviation in 1989, Mongolia is committed to international civil aviation organizations to provide aviation data / aviation information services on its territory.

To ensure the flow of aeronautical data and aeronautical information necessary for the safety, regularity and efficiency of international air navigation and to be one of the leaders in aeronautical information services environment in Asia-Pacific.

Aeronautical Information Services Division of Civil Aviation Authority of Mongolia is the sole provider of aeronautical information services within the entire territory of Mongolia in accordance with the Civil Aviation Rule 175.
